8 Months Old!

Elliot turns 8 months old today! (At 11:00 pm to be exact!) She is 22 pounds even (after breakfast;) and about 28.5". So she gained about 2.13 pounds (if my postal scales have been right!) and grew 0.5". (Last month she only gained 13 oz & grew 1".)

I can't believe what all she does now!

Sitting up & playing in her playpen forever.
Rolling around some.
Finally happy-enough to be on her belly & reaching forward for toys; and although she hasn't gotten up on her knees yet, she can push up on her feet while on her belly!
When you pick her up, she stiffens her legs to stand & finds it funny to be "walked." She anticipates something funny (like playing peek-a-boo...she can't stand it & starts laughing ahead of time).
She's big enough for rough-and-tumble play with Daddy & finds it so funny.
Sitting up in the highchair at restaurants & even sharing Mommy's pancakes!!! (tiny, plain pieces - even fed it to herself, too!!)

February 19 - Yes, I'm that cute. February 24 - Peek-a-Boo!! February 26 - "Mom, I need more toys." February 26 - Crawling-Practice (reaching for the remote control!) March 1 - Gatlinburg Photo booth! March 3 - 8 Months Old! Weighing in at 23 pounds with box & big cloth diaper (22 pounds without those items). March 3 - 8 Months Old & beautiful!
